I need names badly

Is it sad to make up a story then not have name for anyone? Not even the main characters. So I’m asking for names for the hero, heroine, villain, and some minor characters. No Bill or Bob names for the main characters. Maybe for minor characters. There are 16 minor characters in all (9 male 7 female), two main characters, and a villain. And it is a on going story. So thank you for your help. That is all. Please post in the comments.

Edit: Ok, no names. Great. I’ll try again I need names. The story takes place in different worlds and times. So it doesn’t mater. That is all.

    Mom wants more information on the story, where is it set? What time period? Is it a Science Fiction piece or maybe a Western? Maybe it’s a story of everyday life?? Details, mom wants details!

    My question was going to be the same as your mom’s. What is the setting? I don’t want to make suggestions like ‘Jimbo’ if it’s fantasy or medieval… :)

    And no, I don’t think it’s sad to not have names. Sometimes it just takes a bit of thinking to come up with the just right (for the story) kind of names. Sometimes, we even have to write a nameless story until one sounds just right (or change it as new ones come to mind). That’s what is nice about writing–you are the author–it’s all flexible. :)
